Clunan

Michael Clunan is an experienced English central midfielder who plays for King’s Lynn Town FC in the National League North. Born on 28 January 1994, Clunan is widely recognised for his composure in possession, tactical intelligence and leadership in midfield.

Clunan began his senior career with Bury Town, where he progressed through the club’s youth system before becoming a regular in the first team. His performances earned him a move to Lowestoft Town, where he played a key role during their time in the National League South and FA Cup campaigns.

In 2017, Clunan joined King’s Lynn Town, quickly establishing himself as a cornerstone of the midfield. He was an integral part of the Linnets’ historic rise through the divisions, helping the club secure multiple promotions and achieve their highest-ever league status.

After leaving King’s Lynn Town, Clunan went on to represent Scunthorpe, continuing to demonstrate his reliability and leadership across the National League system. He later returned to The Walks, bringing added experience, balance and continuity back into the Linnets’ midfield.
