Most will have noticed the working scoreboard in the corner of the pitch on Saturday. However, you may not have realised that this is a brand-new, fully operational scoreboard, and we’re delighted to officially unveil it.
Kindly donated to the club by Tony and Karen Stevens (WWSA), the new scoreboard is another important step towards improving the matchday experience for everyone at King’s Lynn Town Football Club.
Going forward, the scoreboard will be used for live matchday scoring, while also providing an exciting platform to promote sponsorship opportunities, club events, community partnerships and much more.
Karen, from WWSA, said:
“WWSA have proudly supported the club for a number of years and, following the problems with the previous media screen, we wanted to make a genuine and lasting difference to the matchday experience by replacing it.
“We have funded and provided a completely new, modern system for the club and its supporters to enjoy, and hope it becomes a key feature of matchdays for many years to come.
“It was fantastic to see it operating successfully on Saturday, but even better to see supporters watching and enjoying what it already adds to The Walks.
“As the content develops, we hope it becomes an important part of matchdays — from team news and goals to messages, community content and celebrating the people and businesses that support KLTFC.”
