King’s Lynn Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Kwame Thomas.
Kwame joins us as our tenth summer signing.
An experienced striker, Kwame began his career as a graduate of Derby County's academy, making four Championship appearances for the Rams. During his time at Derby, he also enjoyed loan spells with Notts County and Blackpool.
A move to Coventry City followed in 2016, where he made 14 appearances for the Sky Blues, scoring three goals. During this period, Kwame also gained National League experience with loan spells at Sutton United, Kidderminster Harriers and Solihull Moors, making nearly 40 appearances for The Moors across two separate spells.
A former England youth international, Kwame has also spent time in the EFL with Doncaster Rovers and Burton Albion, as well as enjoying a spell in the Scottish Premiership with Dundee FC.
Over the last few years, Kwame has established himself in the National League with Wrexham, Sutton United and Ebbsfleet United. During this time, he also became a full international for Saint Kitts and Nevis. Most recently, he represented Aldershot Town in what was his third spell with the club. Where he was part of their FA Trophy winning side, alongside fellow summer signing Aaron Jones.
Kwame has this to say upon signing for the Linnets:
“I’m very happy to have joined King’s Lynn and I’m looking forward to contributing to what I hope will be a successful season. It’s a club I’ve played against on a number of occasions, and I know several players who have played for the club, as well as some who are still here. They all speak very highly of the club and its supporters.
I can’t wait to get started, settle in with the squad, and get up to speed ahead of the start of the new season in a few weeks’ time.”
Linnets manager Paul Caddis had this to say regarding Kwame’s arrival:

Kwame is a powerful, physical centre-forward with a proven pedigree at a higher level. He brings experience, leadership and a real presence at the top end of the pitch, and I believe he’ll add another dimension to the way we want to play.
