King's Lynn Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of defender Jahmari Lindsay.
Jahmari joins the Linnets as our fifth signing of the summer.
At just 21 years of age, Jahmari began his footballing journey in the Manchester United academy, progressing through the Red Devils' youth setup and reaching their Under-18 squad before signing for Leicester City in 2021.
Over the past five years, Jahmari has been a regular feature in Leicester's youth sides, making 70 appearances across their Under-18 and Under-21 teams.
Operating primarily as an attacking left-back, Jahmari will be a real asset going forward. His pace provides a significant attacking threat down the wing, while his ability to deliver pinpoint crosses into the box makes him a constant danger in the final third.
Jahmari had this to say upon signing for the club:
I’m here to help the club out as much as I can, attacking, defensively. I’m quite strong and quick, I use that to my advantage to get down the left hand side”
“I can’t wait to get going”
Linnets manager Paul Caddis had this to say about Jahmari's arrival:
“We’re delighted to welcome Jahmari to the football club. He comes to us from the highly respected academy system at Leicester City F.C., where he has developed into an exciting young player with tremendous potential.
Jahmari offers us huge athleticism both in and out of possession down the left-hand side. He is a player blessed with great pace and has the quality to provide a real attacking threat, whether that’s driving forward with the ball, creating opportunities for teammates, or impacting games in the final third.
We’re pleased to be able to provide Jahmari with a platform to continue his development and take the next step in his career. There was interest from clubs at higher levels, so we’re particularly delighted that he has chosen to join us. Throughout our conversations, he showed a real desire to come and work with us, and that commitment was something that stood out immediately.
Jahmari is a hungry, ambitious young player who wants to improve and succeed, and I’m sure our supporters will see someone who gives everything for the football club every time he pulls on the shirt. We’re excited to work with him and look forward to helping him fulfil his potential here.”
