As we move forward together into a new season, I wanted to speak directly to our supporters about where we are, where we’re heading and what we want this football club to represent.
When I arrived at King’s Lynn Town, the immediate objective was clear — keep the club in the division. It was a difficult period that required quick decisions, resilience and togetherness from everyone involved, and together we achieved that goal.
Now, our focus turns fully to the future.
This is a fresh chapter for the football club and one I am incredibly excited to lead. From the very beginning, I have felt the passion that exists around King’s Lynn Town. This club matters deeply to people, and with that comes responsibility. It is a responsibility I am proud to carry every single day.
What supporters can expect from me, my staff and every player who represents this football club is honesty, commitment and hard work. Those values will be at the heart of everything we do.
I’m really looking forward to meeting supporters at the Fans Forum on June 12th. It’s important that supporters feel connected to the football club and understand the direction we are building towards together. Open communication and togetherness are vital if we want to create something strong and lasting here.
Over the last few weeks, a huge amount of work has gone into shaping the environment, standards and identity we want at this football club. Building a successful team is about far more than ability alone. Of course talent matters, but mentality, character, professionalism and togetherness are just as important.
Every decision we make moving forward will be with the long-term future of King’s Lynn Town in mind.
When it comes to recruitment, that responsibility sits with me. Every player who joins this football club will do so because we believe they can contribute not only as footballers, but as people who will represent this badge, this town and our supporters in the right way.
We want a group that supporters can connect with — a team that competes, works relentlessly for each other and reflects the pride people feel for this football club.
Progress is built step by step, but I truly believe there is a real opportunity here to create something positive together. There is passion within the club, dedication behind the scenes and a supporter base that can make a huge difference when united behind the team.
Football is emotional because it means so much to so many people. For generations of supporters, this club represents memories, family, identity and community. For others, it is an escape and a place where people come together through shared passion and pride.
That connection between supporters, players and staff is incredibly important, and we want everyone pulling in the same direction as we head into the new season.
There will be challenges along the way because football always brings highs and lows, but what matters is how we respond together. We want a team that supporters recognise — one built on energy, togetherness, resilience and commitment.
I cannot promise perfection, and no manager can guarantee results every single week. What I can promise is that every player who wears the Linnets shirt will give absolutely everything for this football club and its supporters.
We are building with purpose, ambition and belief, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.
